Your mission will be to help teachers get the most of our online homework – on the telephone, by email or via online chat. You’ll be supporting our friendly account management team providing first-class service to our teachers. You’ll be a great fit for the role if you are enthusiastic about helping people, have excellent administrative skills, and are a ‘to do list’ ninja. Location: Cowley Road, Oxford, UK Hours: 8.00-4.00 weekdays, term time Salary: £25K pro rata, £21,818 actual You will help teachers and students get the most out of our software: Maintain and improve on our brilliant customer support - helpful and friendly advice available instantly. Answer incoming phone calls from teachers, parents, and students – identify the query and pass to the best person to help. Work with user data to prepare it for importing into our systems. Posting weekly goodies to teachers. Answer all email questions very quickly and escalate when necessary. Make every interaction with us a positive one. Communicate efficiently, professionally, and personably with our customers. You will be someone who can: Empathise with customers in a genuine way that lets them know you care. Make decisions and prioritise under pressure. Explain complex issues in simple terms. "Zoom out" of a problem and ask the right questions to find the solution. Plan, organize, and prioritize work. Requirements You will have: Excellent spoken and written English. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Fast, accurate typing. Lots of computer experience. A good education. And, ideally, experience of working with schools.
