The Role:
As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering exquisite pastries, desserts, breads, and afternoon tea selections that reflect our hotel’s reputation for excellence. You’ll manage a talented pastry team, oversee daily production, and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of quality, innovation, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a dedicated pastry team.
* Develop seasonal dessert menus and bespoke creations for special events.
* Ensure consistency, creativity, and precision in all pastry items.
* Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen costs within budget.
* Maintain rigorous hygiene and food safety standards.
* Train and mentor junior pastry chefs to develop their skills.
About You
* Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Sous in a 5‑star hotel, Michelin‑level restaurant, or luxury establishment.
* Exceptional creative flair with a deep understanding of classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
