The role

Main duties
* Manage programme Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunity (RAIDO) activities.
* Ensure the smooth running and facilitation of the RAIDO management process.
* Prepare and facilitate internal and joint customer RAIDO Review Boards & Brainstorm Sessions.
* Attend reviews with the customer RAIDO Manager to confirm process adherence and progress actions.
* Work with RAIDO item owners to track progress against mitigation plans through to completion.
* Update RAIDO Register post-review and produce reports.
* Perform Schedule Monte Carlo Analysis.
* Support and attend programme reviews including Programme Management Reviews and Risk and Opportunity Management Board meetings.
* Develop strong relationships with customers and subcontractors to ensure commitments are met.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for individuals with a mission focus, enthusiasm, and drive to get things done. You’ll collaborate with defence training organisations and the British Army, learning lessons and sharing them across the team. You may not have a military background but should understand what it means to serve and put the mission first.
Key attributes include innovative thinking, forward planning, and the ability to react quickly to changes. There will be opportunities for advancement within the company.
* Demonstrable Risk Management experience
* Knowledge of Risk management tools (e.g., Active Risk Manager) or similar applications
* Understanding of Monte Carlo Risk Analysis
* Excellent organisational, verbal, written and presentational communication skills
* Team player who can inspire others and challenge assumptions
* Ability to anticipate problems and enact innovative solutions
* Methodical, hardworking, enthusiastic and able to work under pressure
* Ability to multitask and adapt to short-notice re-tasking
* Business finance and statistical analysis knowledge
* Degree in a technical or project management-related discipline, or equivalent experience; recognised project management qualification is highly desirable
