What We Are Looking For:

* Independence: As this is a community-based role, you must be able to independently transport yourself between client homes (access to your own vehicle is highly advantageous).

Duties
* Assist our clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
* Help with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions
* Support clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
* Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
* Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a secure environment for all
Experience
* Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively
* Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills to interact clearly and compassionately
* Valid driving licence & ability to transport self and others
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and their families
