About the role:
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for contacting businesses in your local area and helping them to reduce their credit/debit card processing costs. You will need to be confident, presentable, personable and hard working. A minimum of one year's sales experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Upon being successful for this role, applicants will receive thorough induction training in merchant services, join a vibrant team, and will benefit from the best commission rates and residual bonuses in the industry.

Specific Accountability and duties:
* Generating opportunities to meet and discuss card processing with merchants
* Demonstrating the features and benefits of 5Tel's proposal
* Answering queries about product specifications and pricing
* Closing the sale and completing applications with merchants
* Helping merchants stay compliant with PCI DSS and other requirements
* Ensuring documentation is processed with 5Tel in a timely manner
BDM Requirements:
* Industry experience is not required, but proof of previous success is a must
* Must have a hunter mentality and be driven to earn high commissions and incentives
* Result orientated with a proven track record of hitting targets
* People person with the tenacity to cold call in the field every day and maximise opportunities through referrals, networking and relationship building
* Good organisation and planning skills are critical to success
Income Expectations:
Basic Salary will be depending on experience, with potential additional earnings of £70,000.00 per year OTE.
