CALLING ALL BID WRITERS!
Our client is seeking a Bid Writer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Bid Writer will handle a busy workload and act as a mentor to the Bid Coordinator. The role offers opportunities for growth within the company and plays a key part in its success.
Key Responsibilities for the Bid Writer:
1. Manage and develop the company's knowledge bank for bid writing, presenting new content for potential reuse.
2. Support and coach the existing Bid Coordinator.
3. Analyze tender content, research, and orchestrate responses from all disciplines to formulate suitable responses.
4. Prepare written editorial content for case studies, brochures, award submissions, marketing materials, event invites, and client handouts.
5. Interview internal team members to develop technical information for bid content.
6. Develop clear, well-written bids from researched responses, conveying operational, technical, and commercial solutions.
7. Deliver contract-winning bids through effective bid writing and coordination.
8. Identify and rework existing pre-written content where relevant.
Skills Required for the Bid Writer:
1. Strong writing skills.
2. High attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Business acumen and industry understanding.
5. Experience in writing, preparing, or coordinating business proposals or bids.
6. Industry experience in Planned Maintenance, Refurbishment, Renewables, Retrofit, or Construction.
7. Proactive, organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
