We are currently seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our team of experienced professionals located at our London Heathrow airport office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the support and administration of our SmartBag Baggage Reconciliation System, which serves more than 75 airlines at one of the busiest airports globally.

Job Responsibilities:
* Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows servers and related infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
* Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services, including user account provisioning, policy enforcement, and name resolution.
* Support a diverse environment of over 2,000 network devices, including Windows 10/11 workstations, mobile rugged computers, and printers.
* Configure and manage IP addressing schemes, VLANs, and firewall rules to maintain secure and efficient network operations.
* Provide technical support and incident resolution for SmartBag systems, collaborating closely with airport stakeholders and airline representatives.
* Monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and implement upgrades as required to support continuous operations.
* Manage backup and recovery process.
Qualifications Required:
* Certification in Microsoft Windows System Administration (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent).
* Solid experience with Windows server administration, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
* Proficient in IP addressing, VLAN management, and firewall rule configuration.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with networked devices, including workstations and mobile computers.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-critical airport environment.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Other Requirements:
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Heathrow Airport Limited Identification (HAL ID) Pass.
* Full, valid driving licence (required to obtain an Airside Driving Permit); we’ll consider reasonable adjustments.
* Willingness to work nights.
