Position: Build Technician
Location: Cambridgeshire

We’re looking for a hands-on Electro / Mechanical Build Technician to support the assembly, testing and development of complex equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
* Build and test electro-mechanical systems.
* Wire control panels and power cabinets.
* Assemble mechanical components and cabling.
* Carry out electrical, functional and safety testing.
* Work from technical drawings.
* Support customer site commissioning (some travel).
* Drive build improvements, 5S and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Electrical Engineering (or similar) or be a Time-Served
* Strong AC/DC knowledge and PLC hardware experience.
* Excellent wiring, soldering and mechanical skills.
* Able to read electrical drawings.
Desirable: PLC software knowledge, machinery safety, SAP, Lean / 5S experience.
