Our client is a very successful international Energy Trading company with access to all key markets worldwide.
This is a high-impact role within a globally distributed Market Risk team, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and complex, cross-commodity risk issues. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving analytical depth, supporting risk model development, and improving risk reporting processes.
The role is particularly well suited to a candidate looking to deepen their expertise in market risk while progressively expanding their leadership influence in a successful commodity trading business. KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for preparing daily, weekly and monthly market risk reports, including VaR, options and stress testing
2. Key role in the quantitative analysis of the risk profile of the company’s portfolio across commodities and products
3. Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support Market Risk and Middle Office activities (such as onboarding new business and products), as directed by the Risk Manager
