Your new role
As a Civils Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for themercial management of civil engineering projects from procurement through to final account. You will prepare valuations, manage subcontractor accounts, assess variations and ensure accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with operational teams to monitor progress, manage risk and maintain strong financial control. The role requires a proactive approach, strongmercial awareness and the ability to work effectively across multiple project locations.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering sector and a solid understanding of NEC contracts. You will need strong analytical andmunication skills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams and confidence in dealing with subcontractors, clients and project teams. Flexibility to travel across the UK is essential, as is amitment to delivering high-qualitymercial support.
