Job Title: Night Manager at HC-One
In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One, you'll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories to tell. By joining us, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those residents.
As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for a specific part of the home and delivering the highest level of care. You will also run the entire home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager. Whether reporting mobility issues, requesting samples for monitoring, or administering medication, you'll always prioritize resident dignity and well-being.
You should have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults. Beyond that, your positive energy and natural ability to connect with people are essential. This role requires accountability, and effective communication with residents and colleagues should always be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
