The successful CNC Setter/Operator - Sliding Head will play a key role within the machining department, supporting production through effective machine setting, programming and process optimisation.

Role Responsibilities
Setting and operating sliding head CNC machines
Programming Star and/or Citizen sliding head machinery
Producing precision engineered components to tight tolerances
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
Ensuring machines operate efficiently and safely
The Person
Minimum 3 years’ experience setting and programming sliding head CNC machinery
Strong experience with Star and/or Citizen machines
Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Reliable, motivated and able to work independently
