Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base across Northamptonshire. Responsibilities
* Servicing a client based around Northamptonshire
* Servicing forklift trucks & other material handling equipment
* Fixing other equipment including plant hire
* Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment
* Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background but this is not essential. The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles or other related sectors. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer facing skills. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere around the Northampton area.
