The Role To provide patient focused quality pharmaceutical care and to assure an efficient and timely supply of pharmaceutical advice and medication within secondary care setting. What we'll need you to bring Masters of Pharmacy Degree Registered member of General Pharmaceutical Council Independent Prescribing qualification or undertakes to complete within reasonable timescale. Ability to work under pressure. Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload Experience in patient information/education Ability to effectively monitor patients’ therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team. Commitment to revalidation as per directions of General Pharmaceutical Council Good verbal and written communication skills Self motivation Good interpersonal skills Demonstrate customer awareness/focus Participation in weekends and public holiday service Participation in pharmacy emergency duty Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department It would be great if you also have Ability to effectively monitor patients’ therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity Contract type Various hours Location and Working Pattern This role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Wishaw & University Hospital Monklands Whilst this advertisement may be for a specific post(s) in a particular location, applicants who are shortlisted for interview may be considered for similar vacancies in alternative locations.
