We are looking for a talented and driven Marketing Executive to join our team. The purpose of this role is to support the Lead of Verv:Lab (VervLife’s specialist Creative and Culture Department) and the organisation’s property management teams to make sure we deliver our services effectively, with high production value and with flair. This role is remote / hybrid. Candidates based in London are preferred with travel to our communities and offices nationwide (1 day a week in London required). This role calls for someone with a creative and inquisitive mind who has a broad skill set and is willing to learn. You’ll be a wordsmith and have an eye for design and will be responsible for self-generating content and equally working with the in-house team and external specialists where required such as graphic designers and web developers. You’ll also be helping us to identify and build relationships with local community groups and stakeholders, ensuring our communities are activated in a disruptive, exciting way that enhances the experience our residents receive when living in one of our buildings. You will receive bonus points from our hiring manager if you have an interest or passion for sustainability and social value Primary Duties Across our portfolio of rental communities: Supporting our on-site teams during mobilisation and then maintain brand standards through management of self-serve brand asset hubs for each community (we use Canva) Good understanding of social media platforms with the ability to plan and create upcoming content and keep an eye on up-and-coming trends. Create, manage and report on our programme of resident surveys, including our unique Resident Wellness Index and Resident Experience surveys Ideating events and cultural initiatives, then working with our on-asset teams to deliver them successfully on time and on budget Identifying local stakeholders, brands and businesses and managing relationships Development and management of content for social media, website and resident apps. Lead development and execution of ecru programmes (we use HubSpot) Support development and delivery (lead by Brand and Marketing Lead ) and then execution of the wider marketing strategies for our communities Working on all core marketing disciplines including web-based content, content marketing, email marketing, copywriting, print, multi-media, digital, social media, direct marketing, promotional marketing, project and supplier management, and marketing planning to deliver engaging campaigns across the portfolio. Co-ordinating Photo, 360s and video shoots, assisting with show apartment dressing, including coordination with external agencies and relevant teams. For VervLife on a corporate basis: Manage our LinkedIn presence. Create content strategy (with support of senior colleagues) and then lead delivery Manage our corporate events calendar and co-ordinate our attendance Manage our 'Hello' inbox, redirecting queries to the right colleague Manage delivery of materials, venue, F&B, guest lists for our own corporate events. These events could be anything from internal colleague awards to client brunches Create and manage bank of case studies and ‘community bible’ guides, telling our prospects and stakeholders everything they need to know about the incredible places we manage The above outlines the main duties and responsibilities of the position, however these won’t be the only ones and there could be additional elements which are included in future commensurate with your skills and training and consistent with the level and responsibilities of the role. You will be expected to work in a multitasking manner and to support other members of the team across a range of other duties as directed by your line manager. Skills Financial and analytical IT Skills - Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office IT Skills – Excel – (Intermediate to Advanced Level) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good organisational and multitasking skills Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales Canva experience (Adobe CC or Figma experience is a plus but not essential) Must have exceptional written English skills. Experience with digital; website, social and email marketing campaigns. (WordPress) Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software (HubSpot knowledge is a plus) Personal Qualities Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to show initiative. Willing to be flexible and respond to changing circumstances. Demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Experience and Qualifications Essential Educated to degree level in marketing, or demonstrable experience in a busy marketing role. At least 2 years working in a marketing environment with a proven track record. Experience of national campaigns, tracking and delivering ROI. Experience in working with 3rd party suppliers/agencies/partners. An eye for engaging fresh branding and an understanding of young professionals. Ability to travel to our properties across the UK, with 1 day based on site in London a week. Desirable Experience in a marketing role in the BTR, Co-living, PRS or PBSA sector.
