* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical problems in industrial, commercial, and domestic systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.
* Conducting routine maintenance and testing on industrial, commercial, and domestic systems, ensuring installations meet manufacturer standards, including steam boilers, cooling systems, and air systems.
* Working independently to identify and repair faults in mechanical systems.
* Performing compliance and insurance inspections on LOLER, PSSR, lifting equipment, etc., across the site.
* Providing professional assessments and advice, communicating effectively at all levels.
* Installing plant, equipment, pipework, and machinery to a high standard.
* Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in FMCG or similar environment.
* Highly organized, self-directed, with the ability to prioritize, project manage, and schedule engineering works.
* Qualified engineer with working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed air, cooling, mechanical, and water systems.
* Experience with bench work such as welding and fabrication.
* Ability to influence colleagues and suppliers for successful project outcomes.
* Knowledge of engineering regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., PSSR, LOLER).
* Strong IT skills: proficient in MS applications, CAD, ERP, data analysis, and reporting.
* Collaborative mindset.

* Salary of £41,000 per annum.
