Are you looking to advance your engineering career in a role that offers stability and growth? Our client is currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their dedicated engineering team at a prestigious corporate site in Northampton.
The Role
As the Multiskilled Shift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure compliance and efficiency across all site systems.
2. Responding to and resolving reactive maintenance issues promptly to minimise operational downtime.
3. Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, including lighting, power systems, distribution boards, control panels, and emergency lighting.
4. Supporting mechanical maintenance as needed, including pumps, HVAC systems, valves, and motors.
5. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation via the site’s CAFM system.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation / Maintenance.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
* Proven experience in a similar electrical-biased multiskilled engineering role.
* Good understanding of building systems including HVAC, lighting, and power distribution.
* Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Salary: £43,500 basic salary, with the potential to earn up to £47,000 with Appointed Person certification.
Shift pattern: Continental shift – 4 days on, 4 days off (days and nights).
