Bowmill Poole is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities will include;
* To determine and plan optimum manufacturing methods and processes.
* Produce workshop job packs to AS9100 standard for release on to the shop floor.
* Working to customer specifications and quality standards.
* Support production with technical issues.
* Identifying and organising tooling requirements for new parts.
* Working closely with both customers and suppliers.
What we are looking for;
* Previous experience in an Aerospace or other (high precision) manufacturing environment.
* A good understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
* A good understanding of materials and surface treatment processes.
* Appreciation of commercial considerations.
* Experience of ERP systems and Excel.
* Experience of CAD systems (Catia) beneficial.
