As a Passive Fire Surveyor, you'll be responsible for conducting site surveys across a variety of building types—including residential, commercial, and industrial premises. Your work will directly influence the planning and pricing of fire protection projects. Key Responsibilities * Carry out detailed fire door, fire stopping, and compartmentation surveys. * Provide high-quality data capture using digital tools and record management systems. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure survey accuracy and readiness for project delivery. * Offer informal guidance to clients on fire safety principles and improvements. * Conduct audits post-remediation to ensure quality assurance and compliance with scope. * Maximise access to properties and deliver high volumes of quality survey work. * Attend team meetings and maintain regular contact with your line manager and team. * Complete all relevant health & safety documentation and follow RAMS and safe systems of work. Ideal Candidate Profile * Previous experience conducting passive fire surveys (fire doors/fire stopping essential). * BM Trada knowledge or third-party accreditation is desirable. * Excellent time management, accuracy, and attention to detail. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the business on-site. * Confident using digital software for logging survey results and reports. * UK driving licence essential (company vehicle provided).
