Overview
Join MAG (Airports Group) as an ATC Watch Manager at East Midlands Airport – the UK’s top freight hub and a gateway for global trade. This role supports the airport’s air traffic services team in a fast‑moving, complex regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Air Traffic Control Officers and Assistants during your watch, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
* Coordinate all airside and air traffic‑related activities, responding to incidents in line with the Aerodrome Manual and MATS Part 2.
* Contribute to the EMA Duty Management team, ensuring seamless trade and excellent passenger experience.
* Maintain compliance with safety management systems and safety reporting processes.
Qualifications
* ADI and APS ratings, minimum five years as a UK civilian ATCO.
* OJTI and Assessor ratings (Investigator desirable).
* High standard of ATC skills and operational competence.
* Experience managing staff, resource allocation and shift coordination.
* Familiarity with SMS and safety reporting.
