We are looking for experienced Electrical Engineers with expertise either in networking and communications or marine integration systems. You will be involved in the integration of marine surveillance systems and will design, build, deploy, maintain, and recover or re-site sensor suites. This role offers the chance to bring emergent technologies into operation in a strategically important sector. You will be primarily based in Surrey for hands on, workshop based build phases but with regular travel across the UK and abroad for deployments, maintenance, and installation of the equipment at sea and in coastal environments. As part of the role, you will lead small teams during deployments, guide apprentices and junior engineers, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality products on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial, telecoms, or marine engineering background.
