Are you passionate about supporting young people through life’s challenges? Do you have an HND in Child Development or relevant experience and a desire to make a difference? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pupil Wellbeing Worker to provide essential support to secondary pupils and primary pupils during their transition to secondary education. You’ll play a vital role in helping young people navigate:

* Bereavement and loss
\n
\n
\n
* Social, emotional and behavioural needs
\n
\n
\n
* LGBT+ support
\n
\n
\n
* Personal safety
\n
\n
\n
* Additional support needs (ASN) transition from P7 to S1

Requirements
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
