Our client, a well-established and family run manufacturing business is looking to appoint a detail-oriented Quality Inspector. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards by conducting thorough inspections throughout the production process. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving existing processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform visual inspections on in-process components and finished goods (last-off inspection) to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards Identify, document, and report defects, non-conformances, and deviations in a timely manner Support production teams by ensuring adherence to established quality procedures and work instructions Maintain accurate inspection records, including inspection reports and quality documentation Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times Participate in audits and contribute to maintaining quality certifications where applicable Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment Strong background in visual inspection, including both in-process and final (last-off) inspection Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards High attention to detail with a methodical and structured approach to work Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques (e.g., calipers, gauges, measurement equipment) Good documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment If this sounds like your next opportunity.
