Full time Band Specialist Nurse Practitioner
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a busy Dermatology Outpatients department with a dynamic group of nurses and doctors.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a variety of skin surgery under local anaesthetic including skin biopsy, incisions, excisions, grafts, and flaps. Surgery will be undertaken in the four functioning procedure rooms which make up the Procedure Suite. The role will involve working autonomously along-side medical and nursing staff, working in line with Trust and departmental protocols.
A minimum of two years previous experience in undertaking surgery as a surgical nurse practitioner is essential. A Surgical Nurse Practitioner qualification at PgDip/MSc level is desirable.
