We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Devizes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong administration, numerical and communication skills and have previous experience in a finance based administration role.
Duties will include:
* Posting daily bank and cash receipts
* Bank Reconciliations
* Matching receipts to invoices within individual customer ledgers
* raising invoices and recharges as appropriate
* First point of contact for all department queries
* Set up new customers accounts
* Process DD returned payments
* Raise credit notes
* Credit card/ cheque processing and reconciliations
* Other ad hoc duties when required including supporting credit control, sales and purchase ledger processes as required.
Ideally, you will have:
* Methodical approach with attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
* Excellent level of numeracy and literacy
* Excellent IT skills with sound working knowledge of Excel, including logical equations
* Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
* Flexible approach to working and a team player with a 'can do' attitude
