maintaining efficient operations. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a
vital role in the day-to-day functioning of our BWS department.
Key
Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll
play a crucial part in keeping our database accurate and up-to-date, ensuring
that our stock levels are well-managed with daily inventory reports. You'll be
responsible for processing orders efficiently, maintaining strong supplier relationships,
and handling financial tasks like invoicing and customs records. Additionally,
you'll oversee the seamless management of email communication and assist with
the annual document archiving process in line with Data Protection Law
To excel in this
role, you should possess:
* Computer literacy, with
proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
* Strong teamwork and
organisational skills.
* The ability to multitask and
perform effectively under pressure.
* Excellent communication
skills.
* Keen attention to detail and
a commitment to accuracy.
* Previous experience in
procurement is desired.
* Working knowledge of
stock/accounting systems is a plus.

Other Information:
This role is part-time, 20 hours a week. With us, you'll enjoy a competitive
hourly rate and 20 days of holiday (which increases with service to a maximum
of 25 days).
The successful
applicant will be part of a small team based at Liberation Drinks, Tregear
House, Longueville Road, Jersey, and full training on this role will be given.
