Are you a self-motivated professional who is eager and passionate to work as a Configuration Analyst? We are hiring for a Configuration Analyst who would be based in one of our offices in Redhill. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the touchpoint between the core development and client systems teams. You will gain a good understanding of the full systems structure, with multiple avenues for professional development.
In this role, you will report to the Lead Configuration Analyst, with the primary focus on ensuring all client configuration creation and change activities are executed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You should be technically minded and adept at understanding, documenting, and communicating the context and impact of configuration changes within a system.

The Role
1. Produce and interpret configuration requirements for functionality within the BenefitConnect system.
2. Analyze and interpret changes to data structure or configuration made by the development teams.
3. Work closely with new clients, Installations, Data Migration teams, and other non-technology teams involved in business change to ensure high-quality outcomes within the administration function post-implementation.
4. Discuss changes and their functional impact with the development teams.
5. Document the configuration options associated with data changes.
6. Work with the Lead Configuration and other analysts to determine the best way to apply client-specific configuration.
7. Liaise with development teams to confirm changes to data structure and discuss the functional implications, documenting new changes and discussing them with client systems teams.
8. Carry out validation and testing of configuration changes, liaising with QA as required.
9. Apply your skills as part of a focused, technically competent data team that prides itself on excellence.
10. Understand the impact of data items within the system and the context in which they are set.
11. Interpret business or legislative requirements and assess their practical impact.
Qualifications
The Requirements
* Experience with DC, DB, or Hybrid occupational pension schemes.
* Experience using database tools like SQL or Excel.
* Understanding of database table design and dependencies.
* Strong analytical skills, including data comparison.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to organize workloads effectively.
* Some understanding of the UK pensions technical landscape or experience interpreting multiple requirements.
