Work base: Venue Cymru
Venue Cymru is the regions busiest arts and events centre, comprising of a 1,500 seat theatre, 2,500 capacity arena and a full range of high quality conference and event spaces. We present a diverse arts programme, from West End Shows to our own Young Creatives performances, and host high profile conferences and events throughout the year.
You will work as part of a friendly and supportive team in all front of house areas, carrying out a range of duties including setting-up and clearing work areas for meetings or conferences, serving behind the bars and waiting-on in the restaurant.
You will receive full training for the role and an opportunity to develop your skills further.
To be able to deliver a bi-lingual service to our customers, the ability to communicate in English is essential and the ability to conduct a simple conversation in Welsh is also essential for this post. We can support you in developing your Welsh skills to be able to fulfil the needs of this role.
You will work on an annualised hours contract, working an average of 25 hours a week arranged on a shift rota basis and includes weekend, evening and bank holiday working.
