Overview
Podiatrists - Diabetes Foot Protection Service at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. Band 5 Podiatrists with an interest in diabetic foot protection. We are recruiting clinical staff who are passionate about patient care and want to make a real difference in diabetic foot care.
Responsibilities
* Provide evidence-based comprehensive assessment, review and treatment for patients with diabetic foot problems.
* Support the Diabetes Foot Protection Service (FPS) team by delivering services to the local population at moderate and high risk, in line with local care pathways, codes of practice and professional standards.
* Embed Clinical quality guidelines and participate in co-design and collaboration with partners to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
* Utilise strong assessment, diagnostic and communication skills to develop care programmes and implement treatment plans.
* New graduates will be supported and mentored to enable development within the diabetic and high-risk pathways.

Benefits and terms
* Starting with NELFT: comprehensive induction up to two weeks, including mandatory and systems training, equipment allocation, and opportunities to meet executives and attend drop-in sessions on engagement and wellbeing. Induction location: head office in Rainham, Essex.
* High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: 15% of basic salary (minimum £4,714; maximum £5,941).
Requirements and expectations
* Qualified podiatrist with interest in diabetic foot protection.
* Experience in providing podiatry care and working within professional standards and guidelines.
* Ability to work within this service as part of the FPS and contribute to community health outcomes.
