Counsel – Complex Transactions at Convergex

Join our Legal team to provide commercial and technology contract expertise and support vendor management strategy at Convergex.
Responsibilities
* Lead the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of a broad range of vendor agreements, with a particular emphasis on technology‑related contracts, outsourcing arrangements, and other agreements governing the supply of goods and services.
* Advise and support the Enterprise Sourcing Office in maintaining and enhancing a robust governance framework. Align practices with global regulatory expectations and the firm’s risk appetite. Stay informed on developments in vendor management and third‑party governance, guide necessary adjustments, and support preparations for regulatory engagements and examinations.
Qualifications
* Qualified lawyer with a legal degree and 3+ years of post‑qualification experience, ideally gained at a leading law firm or financial institution.
* Strong legal and analytical skills, with experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology contracts.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to third‑party service arrangements in the financial services sector.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Commercially minded, pragmatic, and adaptable.
* Strong communicator and effective collaborator across teams and functions.
* Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and development.
* Experience with contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
