Service Manager – Housing Assets
Salary - £58,279 - £61,565 (Grade 9)
Hours - 37 hours per week
Contract type - Full time, permanent

City Housing is looking for a forward-thinking, motivated leader to join our progressive team as Service Manager – Housing Assets. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of residents and the communities they call home.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Lead the strategic direction for housing asset management across our city.
2. Oversee strategic investment and disinvestment decisions, acquisitions to increase the housing supply, sales of assets and land where appropriate, and lease/licence agreements.
3. Drive regeneration and affordable housing delivery through smart asset identification.
4. Collaborate with partners to deliver on our corporate objective of “Good Homes in Well-Connected Neighbourhoods.”
5. Ensure alignment with our Housing Asset Management Strategy and City Housing Strategy.
6. Work in partnership with the Council’s Managing Agents.

Our working arrangements
All council roles are assigned to either fixed, field, or flexible work styles. Some roles are agile, enabling employees to maximize performance and productivity while maintaining work-life balance. Roles with a fixed work style are based at a permanent council location. Field roles typically involve working in the community with minimal 'touchdown' space at council locations. Flexible roles have a base location but allow working from home or other locations as needed.
