The Ideal Candidate
You will be experienced in both the mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and propulsion systems and associated electrical control technology, ECU (Electronic Control Unit). This is a fantastic opportunity to move your career towards the Rail sector.
The Role
As the Mobile Vehicle Technician, you\'ll be carrying out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines, downloading data and working with ECU familiarity. Fully product training will be provided as Service Engineers are responsible as product experts for ensuring performance and availability for the diesel engines in rolling stock. While hands-on, the role centers on remote diagnostic work to obtain, evaluate and interpret data to identify likely faults before physically inspecting the engine. This represents intermediate fault-finding activity and fault resolution through effective condition monitoring.
