Experienced in the Regional Financial Lines (FL) & Institutions market and looking for a new challenge?

As we build on our Financial Institutions capabilities in the UK regional space, we are looking for an Underwriter to join our team. This is a great job for someone with good communication/people skills, as you will be required to negotiate with our key broker partners and meet with large clients face-to-face in pre-renewal client meetings and develop our FL offering across our UK Regional network.
A bit about the job:
You will join the Regional Financial Lines team working to a Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) underwriting licence. The successful individual will be underwriting Financial Institutions, Directors and Officers Liability insurance, and Commercial Crime insurance. Within this role, you will be responsible for underwriting renewals and new business in line with GCS & Mid-Market strategies. You should be confident when conversing with collaborators both internally and externally to deliver business objectives. Strong communication skills and time management will be important to this role.
This position will suit a motivated and professional individual who is keen to progress their career within a market-leading insurer.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Competent in the underwriting of Financial Institutions, Commercial Directors and Officers liability, and Commercial Crime insurance
* Underwriting experience within Cyber, Pension Trustees Liability, and/or commercial Professional Indemnity is advantageous
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Interest in business and the macro-economic environment
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, brokers, agents, and clients to drive business growth
