Machine Operators – Permanent Roles
Hourly Rate: From £13.50-£15.00 per hour Based on experience
Shift Pattern: 2 week rotation to include 15% shift allowance
* Structured pay scale in place with the opportunity to move up the pay bands as experience is gained within the Company
About The Role
Key responsibilities:
* Operation of CNC machinery (fully automated edge banding production line) including inspections and quality checks
* Selecting pre-optimised programmes to suit all board types
* Selecting multiple thickness of edge tape
* Responsible for machine performance
* Following pre-scheduled workoad and meet deadlines
* Loading and offloading the machine
* Cutting MFC and MDF product
* Cleaning and inspection of finished product and maintaining appropriate records
Required Criteria
* CNC Machine Experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience working within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to understand instructions, job sheets, blueprints, drawings and diagrams
* Experience in total machine maintenance
* Ability to change tools
* Self adjustment of programmes
* Ability to complete required forms and paperwork
* Ability to perform tasks within health and safety guidelines
* Able to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment/adjust to change quickly
* Ability to work in a fast environment
* Attention to detail
* Working in a team with ability to use own initiative
* Ability to complete own quality checks
Desired Criteria
* Awareness of mechanical engineering principles
* Knowledge of HOMAG machinery
* Previous experience of kitchen manufacturing
