You will play a key role in protecting our clients’ interests by managing claims from cradle to grave and ensuring fraudulent activity is identified and addressed effectively. What you'll be doing: Investigate and manage a caseload of third-party liability and motor trade claims, including self-drive hire and corporate client cases. Detect, investigate, and prove fraudulent activity in motor insurance claims. Conduct conversation management interviews with claimants, witnesses, and defendants via face-to-face video calls. Liaise with policyholders, brokers, and client insurers to gather information and provide updates. Provide clear instructions and strategic direction to panel solicitors to secure optimal outcomes for clients. Prepare detailed and accurate investigation reports. Stay current with relevant legislation, Civil Procedure rules, and best practices in insurance investigations. The skills you will have when you apply: Recent experience in general motor claims handling and investigating Third Party claims either in Self-Drive Hire or Motor Trade is essential. The ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and the Civil Procedure rules. Demonstrated ability to detect and investigate both policy and fraudulent claims. Experience working with commercial motor claims, including motor trade and fleet policies, insurance schedules, and endorsements. Skilled in conducting structured interviews via video calls is critical. Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently while meeting the needs of clients and colleagues. Excellent written communication skills for report writing. Professional demeanour with the personal attributes to earn respect and trust from clients and stakeholders.
