Your Impact
* Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters and in-cluster services
* Design and implement new services and functionality to enhance developer experience, improve platform reliability and optimise costs
* Troubleshoot and lead the resolution of production impacting issues, typically when the issue is complex and requires in-depth investigation
* Identify opportunities for innovation or to eliminate toil through the adoption of new technologies, operational improvements and automation
* Provide technical leadership across infrastructure projects, coach junior engineers and help define best practices for architecture / ways of working
* Collaboration with business stakeholders across infrastructure teams, software engineering, infrastructure security and FinOps
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* Certification (minimum associate level) in AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure
* Extensive experience of managing and supporting production infrastructure in the Public Cloud
* Operational experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
* Prior experience in unix/linux system administration
* Proficiency with IaC tooling, such as Terraform and working with CI/CD pipelines
* Experience working within an Agile framework
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Observability tooling such as Grafana
* Prior experience of automation with Ansible
* Software development skills with Python or Go
* Experience with Private Cloud infrastructure on VMWare or OpenStack
* Previous experience working with Kubernetes Ingress controllers
