Overview
There is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic qualified registered nurse to join the Ashfield Healthy Family Teams. You will work in community settings, Health Centres, Schools, Children’s Centres and clients' homes to deliver the Universal Healthy Child Programme and Tier 1 targeted health services to the local 5‑19 ages population.
Responsibilities
* Deliver public health, universal and targeted interventions including safeguarding across the 0‑19 years age range in line with the Healthy Child Programme.
* Support the day‑to‑day management of a defined workload within a skill mix team.
* Support and clinically supervise Assistant Public Health Practitioners, Healthy Child Assistants and Screening Assistants allocated to a defined geographical population.
* Work proactively with a partnership approach to promote health and tackle health inequalities within the competencies required for the post.
* Deliver interventions in line with national and local guidelines and public health priorities.
Qualifications
Qualified registered nurse.
