We are looking for a unique individual to join our team as a Membership Sales Advisor. This role is ultimately about growing the membership numbers and increasing income, while also being the start of the membership retention process for that individual.
Role purpose
The role focuses on selling memberships to new prospects and building rapport with customers to drive membership uptake and longevity in the Freedom Leisure member journey.
Responsibilities
* Support membership growth by using the sales process to ensure sales and income targets are achieved
* Generate excitement and passion for health and fitness to optimise all sales opportunities
* Conduct face-to-face sales appointments to build positive rapport with customers and sell a membership
* Contact all membership leads by phone where possible and by email or text when required
* Undertake regular competitor analysis and keep up-to-date with industry trends, identifying opportunities
* Utilise a team-oriented approach and collaborate across organisational boundaries to support colleagues
Employment details
* Hours: 18.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
* Closing date: 3rd October 2025
* Salary: up to £11,777 per annum
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience of sales
* Strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills
* Ability to represent the Freedom Leisure brand and build excellent rapport with new and existing customers
* Willingness to learn and participate in training and development
