We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Bolton area. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of diverse learning needs and a commitment to making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 support for students with a range of SEN, including speech and language difficulties and sensory needs.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
3. Support students with communication, learning, and personal development.
4. Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
5. Work closely with the class teacher to ensure each child’s needs are met.
Requirements:
* Experience in an SEN environment.
* Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, including ASC and SLD.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Passionate about supporting children and young people.
* Hold a BSL qualification (preferred).

* Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
