Support Worker

Location: Newcastle, NE5

Full-time: 39 hours per week

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Shifts available:
9.30am-3.30pm
5pm-8pm
9am-9am (sleepover)
2.30pm-9am (sleepover)

If you pride yourself on having a caring nature and seek a fulfilling role supporting people, join us. You will support active individuals in their homes and community, including trips and activities like swimming.

As a support worker, you will assist with daily tasks such as domestic chores, social support, personal care, medication support, and meal prep.

We deliver creative, dynamic, and person-centered services, providing individualized support to people in supported living and private tenancies on a 1:1 basis.

Real Life Options is a growing registered charity, committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we support. We are seeking permanent contracted Support Workers.

The role

Supporting individuals to access their community, enjoy leisure and learning, and assist with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping.

Many individuals have autism, learning disabilities, and may display challenging behaviors. You must be able to follow detailed support plans to ensure consistent care.

Driver's license is preferred but not essential. Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. An enhanced Adult and Child DBS check is required.
