C9 Recruitment are currently seeking PCV / Coach Drivers on a full time basis for our client located in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities
Operate the vehicle in a safe manner, adhering to local road restrictions and speed limits. Any fines or tickets received must be reported to the office as soon as possible.
Ensure mandatory vehicle checks are undertaken every time the vehicle is used to a standard acceptable on the road. Any defects to be reported to the office
Ensure that all passengers and wheelchair users are secured correctly in the appropriate location using the necessary safety equipment.
Ensure that the vehicle in use has adequate fuel for the journey, refuelling as and when required or instructed.
Ensure that the vehicle is cleaned inside and out on a regular basis
Ensure that the vehicle is parked in the depot correctly, in pre allocated bays where possible.
Operate the passenger lift and other equipment used to assist passengers whilst entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
Communicate with passengers and clients in a patient, informative manner.

Umbrella Rates :
Standard rates
Weekday: £21.91 per hour
Weekend: £23.24 per hour
Bank Holiday: £23.90 per hour
Adhoc rates
Weekday: £22.58 per hour
Weekend: £23.90 per hour
Bank Holiday: £24.57 per hour
PAYE Rates :
Standard rates:
Weekday: £16.50 per hour
Weekend: £17.50 per hour
Bank Holiday: £18.00 per hour
Adhoc rates:
Weekday: £17.00 per hour
Weekend: £18.00 per hour
Bank Holiday: £18.50 per hour
Coach Driver Candidate Requirements :
Two years' PCV driving experience
Category D Driving Licence
Valid CPC card
No more than 6 points (NO DRs, CDs, or TT99s)
Digital tachograph card with knowledge of tachograph & drivers regulations.
Excellent customer service skills - friendly, polite and respectful
Smart, professional appearance
Standard DBS required
Minimum age 21 ( For insurance purposes)
