Starting salary for this role is £32,061 (pro rata for part-time colleagues).
Compliance Officer (IT & P Governance & Compliance)

About the Role
You will work across a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- Financial processing, including raising requisitions, receipting orders and handling supplier invoices
- Managing IT assets and licences, including stock control and supporting the full device lifecycle (ordering through to disposal)
- Supporting governance and compliance activity by ensuring processes and records are accurate and up to date
- Updating and resolving requests in Halo (our service management system), including coordinating Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- Supporting printing and mobile phone services, including allocation, requests, initial checks and usage monitoring
- Working with suppliers and account managers to resolve issues and maintain service delivery
- Identifying efficiencies and contributing to service improvements
- Using Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, to support data analysis and reporting
You’ll play an important role in helping IT & Programmes run smoothly and enabling colleagues across the organisation to do their jobs effectively.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in an operational support role, ideally with knowledge of asset management, software licensing, mobile services and supplier management
- Experience of financial or procurement processes, including invoice handling
- Experience managing stock or equipment, including allocation and tracking
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- A methodical, analytical approach to problem solving
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
- Confidence working in a busy environment with changing priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues, suppliers and customers
- Relevant qualifications in IT, business support or customer service would be beneficial but not essential

Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working is supported, with a minimum of two days per week based in the office. During the initial training period, you will be expected to spend more time in the office to support learning and onboarding. You will also be expected to remain flexible to attend the office more frequently when required, including at short notice to support team cover and service needs.
