General Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator role is flexible, covering stores, transport, and material coordination, including logging and transporting parts as needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage goods receipt notifications (GRN).
2. Handle slinging of heavy components and complex lifts.
3. Transport materials using forklift, trailer, flatbed, crane, or cab crane.
4. Package and preserve goods for dispatch, including packing.
5. Transfer parts within stores and ensure SAP transactions are current.
6. Ensure kits are correctly picked and issued, and manage shortages.
7. Manage movement and progress of parts within the production process.
Additional Duties:
1. Load and unload vehicles of various sizes, operate forklifts and manual trolleys.
2. Issue materials to shop floor, record serial numbers, and handle subcontract and vendor return processes.
3. Coordinate with buyers on delivery issues, check components for defects, and ensure correct dispatch procedures.
4. Manage waste, chemical materials, and support shipping operations.
5. Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
6. Ensure security of stores and perform general housekeeping.
Desired Skills:
* Accurate GRN and vendor return processing.
* Manual lifting ability (parts up to 25kg).
* Valid forklift licenses (reach and counterbalance), overhead crane/slinging certification.
* SAP knowledge, good teamwork, and communication skills.
