We are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Specialist - Ceded Re to join a high-performing Ceded Reinsurance function within a leading insurance organisation. This is an operational role with a strong focus on pre-bind reinsurance purchase activities. This is a permanent position based in the City on a hybrid working basis. Salary on offer is between £80K - £100K + Bonus + Full Benefits.
Responsibilities include:
* Deliver pre-placement ceded reinsurance operational support, including placement
materials, counterparty due diligence, and readiness assessments.
* Manage and enhance underwriting data quality to support submissions, automation, and
management reporting.
* Act as a central point for broker and reinsurer coordination across placement and
operational workflows.
* Maintain and evolve ceded reinsurance governance, including policies, procedures, and
collateral oversight.
* Produce and enhance ceded re MI, dashboards, regulatory reporting, and programme
documentation.
* Support strategic initiatives including audits, portfolio transfers, MGA data preparation,
and cross-functional
change projects.
Skills & Experience required:
* 4-9 years experience in Reinsurance / Outward Reinsurance operations, with strong exposure
to pre-bind activities.
* Solid understanding of the London Market insurance environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work with large numerical and underwriting datasets.
