The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for leading and developing your team, driving performance against KPIs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. From planning and organising work to managing resources and ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP standards, this is a hands‑on leadership role where your decisions make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate your team through coaching, training, and regular performance reviews.
* Achieve KPIs for production efficiency, quality, people, and profitability.
* Ensure a safe working environment and proactive health & safety management.
* Plan and organise work effectively, prioritising critical tasks and monitoring progress.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure manufacturing targets are met.
* Manage labour allocation and address performance or conduct issues.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in a supervisory or management role within a chilled food environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
* Commercial awareness and commitment to quality and customer service.
* Knowledge of HACCP and allergen controls.
* Ability to work under pressure and think creatively to solve problems.
