Your new role
My client is currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Receptionist to support with holiday cover on a temporary basis in High Wycombe. This is a front-facing role, ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
* Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a friendly and professional welcome
* Managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments
* Handling email enquiries and general administrative tasks
* Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
* Meeting and greeting guests, issuing visitor passes, and notifying staff of arrivals
* Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms as required
* Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties
What you'll need to succeed
o Previous reception or front-of-house experience preferred
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
o Professional and presentable at all times
o Good organisational skills and attention to detail
o Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
o Competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
