Job Description Job Title: Pharmacist Independent Prescriber Location: Crawley Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 per annum (Full-time, permanent) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join a forward-thinking primary care team in Crawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care, including medication reviews, prescribing, and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Provide expert prescribing support across a range of long-term conditions and acute presentations. Conduct structured medication reviews and optimisation in line with best practice. Work closely with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective prescribing. Support the delivery of enhanced services and QOF targets. Ensure patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care, with a focus on safety and outcomes. Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical services within the practice/PCN. Requirements Fully qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPhC. Independent Prescribing qualification. Completion of the CPPE Primary Care Pathway is essential. Strong clinical knowledge with the ability to work autonomously. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Experience in a GP surgery, PCN, or primary care setting (desirable but not essential). What We Offer Competitive salary: £47,000 – £52,000 per annum (dependent on experience). NHS pension scheme.
