Contract type: Full-time, permanent
Working hours: Monday - Thursday (08:00 - 17:00 with 45min break), Friday (08:00 - 16:00 with 30min break)

John McQuillan Contracts is a leading civil engineering and road surfacing contractor based in Northern Ireland. Overall Objectives
We seek to appoint a Contracts Administrator to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with a commercial mindset and a can-do attitude. Reporting to Senior Management and Operational staff, the role focuses on administrative efficiency and supporting various contract and office management functions. Key Responsibilities
* Contracts & Operational Support: managing reports, timesheets, daily programmes, tracking van times, sourcing utility information, processing invoices, and supporting tenders.
* Office Management: supporting Directors and staff, maintaining filing systems, handling correspondence, managing mail, photocopying, ordering supplies, and reception duties.

* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, digital platforms)
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Attention to detail and confidentiality
* Organizational and multitasking skills
* Effective communication skills
* Client relationship awareness
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in similar roles
* Teamwork and cross-functional achievements
* Experience with contracts, invoices, or financial admin
