The Role
Reporting to the Fulfilment Centre Manager, your primary role will be to ensure operational stock & data integrity processes meet the demands of the business.
You will help develop and implement streamlined Fulfilment Centre operational procedures across all departments that support efficiencies, accuracy, space optimized for stock availability, ensuring that the Fulfilment Centre operates smoothly, adhering to standard operating procedures co-ordinating with the onsite trainer meeting business objectives. You will work closely with the Fulfilment Centre management team, and other departments such as IT, Customer Experience and Dev, and external partners.
Your direct reports will be the Stock & data + Analyst teams who will be responsible for stock aftersales processing and the stock data integrity of the reactor database and other systems.
Process Management
Your effective management skills of stock & data will be crucial in ensuring that operational deadlines and targets are met within budget and being able to articulate any adverse results or outcomes, through debriefs, written communication, or reporting.
You will be responsible within the FC management team to understand the site's goals. You will regularly review and analyse existing processes, evaluate their relevance and efficiency, and as a team you will identify areas for continuous improvement.
By ensuring staff have the guidance and tools they need to perform to the best of their abilities, you will be pivotal in improving operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. By adopting a unified team approach, you will help ensure that the business meets its objectives while providing an outstanding customer proposition and delivering exceptional customer service.
Stock Management
You will be accountable for stock integrity - for product availability, Dimensions, therefore enhancing the customer experience, for regulatory audit compliance and for safety regulations (COSHH). Working in parallel the operational Shift Managers, you will also be responsible for Fulfilment Centre layout, ensuring best space utilisation and driving efficiencies in the process. The management team will look to your guidance on incoming goods in and space availability.
A key aspect of this managerial position includes driving revenue growth by effectively managing the resale of non-pristine customer returns and other commodities generated on site. This involves using various outlets and sales channels to maximize return. Additionally, the role requires the preparation of reports to validate and support these revenue-enhancing activities.
What will you be doing?
* Oversee the Fulfilment Centre stock integrity. Manage the COSHH + WEEE products in line with regulatory guidelines regarding handling, storage, and periodic checks. That any disposal of such products is in line with SOP
* Coordinate annual regulatory audits, prepared for by periodic wall to wall cycle counts and subsequent actions / adjustments.
* Oversee investigations into order or product queries, ensure required actions are completed promptly.
* Ensure regular housekeeping is conducted, both systemically and physically.
* Oversee the team completing warranty and courier claims within timeframe, reporting results as needed.
* Oversee the management of stock exit routes to outlet, auctions, and sales. Set agreements with Outlet partners including invoice generation and collection.
* Ensure correct KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and data completion for various departments and reports, including both internal and external customers and stakeholders. ZigZag, R&D, sustainability etc.
* Ordering of Packaging supplies, ad hoc of sundries purchases through company credit card or purchase order.
* Pim first line support for the warehouse. Example being country of origin missing at goods in or minor barcode changes without conflicts. When this can't be resolved escalate to level 2 ticketing system.
* In FC Managers absence be the point of contact for the warehouse any issues that arise.
* Take part in call out rota for warehouse out of hours.

* Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs helps you measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
* Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases ensures efficient tracking and management.
* Health and Safety: An elevated level of understanding and adherence to regulations.
* A drive for sustainability both financially and environmentally.
