Barking & Dagenham College are seeking Enrolment Support Officers to join our Admissions team during our busy enrolment period. The role will commence 11th August 2026 and conclude 12th September 2026, on a fixed-term, variable hours basis of up to 27 hours per week. Working hours are based around the enrolment schedule and may include evenings and Saturdays.
We offer a competitive salary of £14.53 - £16.08 per hour (inc London Weighting) plus accrued holiday pay.
Enrolment Officer Role
To provide an efficient, data‑compliant service to support the enrolment of applicants to BDC. This role involves data entry of learner details into the College Learner Record System, assessing eligibility to study and fee remission where appropriate. The post holder must have a keen eye for data accuracy and be IT literate.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the admissions and enrolments service for learners.
* Process fully completed learning agreements by accurately entering details into the College Learner Record System.
* Participate in college recruitment events as required.
What We’re Looking For
* Excellent data entry skills.
* Excellent customer service experience.
* General level of education to at least Level 3 is desirable.
* Experience of working within the Data Protection Act and dealing with confidential issues.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of the further and/or education curriculum.
* Experience of working with 16‑19 year olds and young adults is desirable.
* A strong team player with a supportive and helpful approach.
